Norse Projects - The Essential Vagn Collection

Norse Projects is a Danish brand started in 2004 by Anton Jull, Tobia Sloth and Mikkel Groemeback. The brand started out as a series of multi brand stores focused on streetwear and skateboarding culture - but the real appeal was their in-store clothing line. Fueled by the popularity of their own product, Norse Projects released their own full menswear line in 2009. Within their collections, Norse Projects moulds classic workwear, streetwear and high end fashion together.

The Vagn Classic Hooded Sweatshirt from Norse Projects is a hooded sweatshirt with set-in sleeves and cut in a regular fit with a diagonal, loopback organic cotton fleece. Featuring an adjustable, double-layer drawstring hood with metal aglets, kangaroo pocket and finished with ribbing at the cuffs and hem.

Featuring set-in sleeves, ribbed collar, cuffs, and hem, and finished with minimal stitching details. The Oyster White colourway is inspired by the ocean and traditional fishing culture, which for centuries has played an essential part of the classic Danish lifestyle.

Adding a touch of difference to the standard crewneck, the Vagn GMD Patchwork Sweatshirt in Slate Grey from Norse Projects is a sweatshirt with set-in sleeves and cut in a regular fit with a diagonal, loopback organic cotton fleece. This piece is garment dyed and crafted in a patchwork pattern using the face and back of the fabric. The Slate Grey colourway represents the material that can be spotted cladded to traditional housing throughout the Scandinavian region - once again linking the product back to the brand's roots and heritage.

All of the Vagn range is produced using organic cotton fleece which is grown using methods and materials that have a low impact on the environment. The nature of growing organic cotton also means that farmers are able to grow other crops alongside the cotton to keep soils healthy, encourage wildlife and protect topsoil.
